Back in 2021, during one of my conversations with Magdalena Bibik, she started telling me how her business had transformed due to one simple, strategic focus. Immediately, I knew I wanted to talk to her about that journey.

Magdalena helps people create better ideas. She is, in her own words, a ‘multidisciplinary turned super niche’, and is the founder of bibik.academy, an idea generation agency that explores the psychology of ideas and offers a range of courses (in three languages!). And, as if that wasn’t enough, she’s currently completing her third masters at Lund University – this one in psychology.

In today’s episode, I’ll be sharing Magdalena’s journey to niching down: how she took her business focus from super-broad to really specific, and how that has impacted her sales. Niching down isn’t a decision to take lightly, but Magdalena summoned the requisite courage and did it, and I can’t wait to share her story with you. I hope it will inspire you, too, to niche down and find those golden Google people who will be your ideal clients!

Here’s what I chatted about with Magdalena:

  • ‘If you’re doing so many things, that must mean you’re not good at anything’: What happened back in 2013, and its impact
  • How Magdalena found the courage to niche down
  • The fear she faced upon deciding to niche down
  • How her sales communication has changed since she niched down
  • Nicolas Cole on niching
  • The importance of new ideas for entrepreneurs
